Agatha and Tillie Episode 2 was presented at the El Cajon Film Festival Saturday, Sept. 15.
The short film was shot around Jamul in the upper community around the Trading Post. The writer/producer/director (who is also the star of the film) is Mickey Harrison.
At 72 years old, she has quite a wonderful reputation in San Diego among student film makers. She decided to write her own screenplay.
This year's film festival in El Cajon Awarded the short comedy about to "Ol' Gals", played by Mickey Harrison, and D. J. Sullivan; who robbed a store owner, played by Jack White; with knitting needles. They were soon caught and taken to jail. They broke out of jail with the same knitting needles...and so begins -- Episode 2.
The comedy, Agatha and Tillie Episode 2, won an award at the Award Ceremony. Mrs. Harrison won yet another award for a screenplay she entered for that category.
While I watched the film play on the screen I observed the reactions of the audience.
The laughter in the theater was a wonderful sound to my ears!
